Serving hams in areas of the Virginia Peninsula in or near the City of Williamsburg, James City County, and the western part of York County.

WAARC runs three special event stations annually plus Field Day; licensing classes; new hams mentoring, lots of public service events, a 9 am, daily, 7 days a week, Coffee and Radio Net, a weekly ARES net Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm, and a weekly YL and Friends Net on Sundays at 7:00 pm  on the 146.76 repeater (no PL required).   These nets are also available on EchoLink and Allstar. Our club callsign K4RC is used for all special events.

The club sponsors a virtual and face to face builders group where projects are discussed and built. recent projects have included end fed antennas and 100 amp hour LiFePO4 emergency batteries.
