WØWML is current call sign.
Former call sign was W9WML, before the "Ø" designation was established.
We began in the WMCA here in Newton then moved to another location
when old "Y" was torn down.
We meet at the Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church
1000 E. 12th St. S. Newton, Iowa
We have participated in FIeld Day for the last 12 years or so and
have placed #1 in Iowa in our catagory most of those years.
We are also Storm Spotters for Jasper County, keeping 911 center and National Weather Service updated on the storms progress and any flooding, lightning or wind damage occures, or if a tornado is spotted.
Call, email, or visit us if you are interested in becoming an Amateur radio opperator.
C'mon over and join the fun.
