The Greater Bridgeport Amateur Radio Club (GBARC) is a community service oriented club located in Bridgeport CT. We are based in the Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center. Our club is an inclusive group that is open to all licensed radio operators, and those looking to become licensed operators. We offer mentoring, education and licensing classes, scheduled when needed.
Our club meetings are held at the Bridgeport EOC the second Thursday of each month at 7pm. The EOC is located at 581 N Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604. Meetings are open to the public and include technical presentations.
We also hold weekly nets on Tuesday nights at 8:30 PM on the W1BPT repeater which is linked full time to the KB1AEV network. Please see our website for additional informaiton.
