The Cold Brook Contest Club was formed in 2005 with the intention to allow VHF enthusiasts easier access to FN23. From about 1400' above sea level (in Cold Brook, NY) and no major noise or obstructions, we now have 7 bands up and operational.

UPDATE - 2 towers have now been raised with future antenna work to be done in 2024. Additional work has been done on HF antennas for NYQP (Herkimer County) which has paid off. We've won SSB high power overall in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2022 & 2023!!

We recently received 6m VUCC from FN23 and now hold WAS, DXCC and 5 Band DXCC as well.

160m WAS was completed in 2010.

160m DXCC was completed in 2022.

The Cold Brook Contest Club is an ARRL affiliated club.

Aligned with VHF powerhouses like the Rochester VHF Group (W2UTH) and DXer's the Rochester DX Association (W2RDX), W2CCC will provide one of the best locations to operate in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
